Natalie Gaidry was born in Houma, Louisiana in 1961 and raised on Residence Plantation. She began her career as an artist at the young age of two when she would paint her sisters hair. Natalie attended the University of Oregon to study Architecture before traveling to Italy to continue her interest in architecture and to further enhance her talents with the paintbrush. Her style and talent continued to develop bringing her to her current vibrant and personal style.
Natalie Gaidry’s paintings exhibit a style that is all her own. There is a sense of urgency in her paintings. Natalie presents distorted objects with intense colors. Her paintings are compelling and turn mundane, everyday objects into something exciting. Gaidry turns the ordinary into the extraordinary.
