Rene LaLonde

Canadian artist Rene LaLonde uses brilliant and unusual color and flattened planes to blend the styles of Cubism, Fauvism and Surrealism. While strong and vibrant and to some extent whimsical his work can project a sense of calmness and serenity. LaLonde’s focus on everyday subjects is somewhat reminiscent of pop artists.
